Miami, FL (Apr. 2021) ⎯ Spoken Word and Live Music event curator Ingrid “B” Bazin of On The B Side celebrates two decades of providing authentic events in South Florida. Her work has propelled her nationally and internationally as an event host, curator and even television producer. Join Ingrid B for the B Side Summer of Soul Series in celebration of 20 years of consistent entertainment On the B Side. The kick-off weekend begins Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 thru Sunday, May 16th ,2021 at various locations in South Florida.
“As we all navigate the impact of Covid-19 in our businesses, the artist continues to suffer as venues shut down across the country and or remained closed. The goal is to continue being an asset to the arts community and showcase South Florida’s creatives. From Singers to Stylist we will support them all during this year’s B Side Summer of Soul,” says Ingrid “B” Bazin, CEO of Ingrid B Inc.
On The B Side’s mission has always been to create stages for performers to grow and provide events for Soul seekers to enjoy. Since the pandemic, Ingrid B resumed curating events in November 2020 to help ease the impact on local artists. By the summer, there will be 3 weekly events to serve as its contribution to Poets, Singers, Musicians and others who perform for a living.
“Working On The B Side during the pandemic has been amazing for myself and my company (LS Music Group, LLC.) With consistent, clean and safe events that provide an outlet for people’s tensions and anxiety of being in the house, has been a great experience. Looking forward to what the future holds our continued partnerships,” says DJ LS One former DJ to DMX.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions and the inability for one major anniversary event, there will be various events to celebrate the milestone.
“The audacity of the B Side to continue providing safe spaces for entertainment during this pandemic has been the mental health and therapy I needed to push through these trying times,” says Poet Sarahca Peterson.
