The Urban Miami, located at 1000 N.W. 2nd Avenue, will be the host location for the Soul Basel finale event on December 8, 2019 from 12pm to 8pm.
Art Xpressions: A Craft, Culinary and Soul Experience is a family friendly art event experience that celebrates unique artists, crafts and culinary brands in the heart of the heritage district of Overtown. Featuring popular international Nigerian-American illustrator, Chukwunonso Ofili; guests can register for an intimate Sip and Stroke Session while enjoying live music, food, entertainment, arts & crafts from vendors across the country exhibiting during Miami Art Basel Week.

In the spirit of football Sundays, merged with the excitement of Superbowl 2020 coming to Miami in less than 2 months; Art Xpressions will also feature an NFL Watch Party for the Miami Dolphins versus New York Jets game, as well as a Sports & Money NFL Talk Back with sports consultants Adam Sosnick and Yinka Majekondunmi.
In part with the Southeast Overtown/ParkWest Community Redevelopment Agency; murals of Overtown heroes Dana Albert Dorsey, Purvis Young, Clyde Killens and Dr. Dorothy Jenkins Fields will be on display along with an exciting program featuring a teens’ Rip the Runway Fashion Show presented by Girl Power and Ethnicity Models which will also feature a new apparel line launch by Urgent Inc.
Hope Murals will also feature art-based character development activities for the Children’s Art Activity Area with features to engage and educate youth on the importance of the creative arts.
