S.O.L. FETE MIAMI-SUMMER OF LOVE FEST DEBUTS AT BAYFRONT PARK

Miami, Fla. (July 2018) –The Miami Urban Contemporary Experience (MUCE) celebrates the end of its MUCE SUMMER SERIES with the first annual S.O.L Fete Miami – Summer of Love Festival on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 from 11AM – 7PM at the Tina Hills Pavilion at  Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd Miami, Fl.  The FREE outdoor community event celebrates the multicultural diversity of Downtown Miami’s urban metropolis that so many call home, while exposing South Florida’s rich Afro-diasporic art, music and cuisine.

In association with the Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA), Love/Hate Classic Sundays, KechThis Inc, and Good Vibes Entertainment, S.O.L Fete (Party) Miami will feature an array of Food, Art, Music and Cultural activities for everyone in the family to enjoy.  There will be an iconic pallet pop-up gallery featuring local artists, FREE paint classes, life-size games like Jenga and Connect Four, Children’s Self Esteem Bootcamp and Fitness Activities to enjoy in sunny Miami while catching a vibe to the iconic sounds of Love/Hate Classic Sundays.  

“We want to highlight the amazing diversity in Miami while celebrating the outdoors. S.O.L. FETE Miami is about utilizing art, music and food as connective threads to highlight our multifaceted community,” explains Ashlee Thomas, co-founder of MUCE. “Thanks to the Miami DDA and  Bayfront Park, this event is free for the entire family and supports the arts and local business community ”.

This is a FREE event and open to the public. Food trucks, arts and crafts vendors will be made available; attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for a family fun day outside. Patrons are also encouraged to bring cash and/or cards to support the local vendors.
